Continuous cast

Red brass alloys such as C844 are typically utilized in plumbing applications. The most widely used alloy in this family is C84400 semi-leaded red brass, known for its reasonable cost with good machining and casting properties. The lead content ensures pressure tightness. Red brass is also used as a cost-effective material for low-load bearings.
